About Pops….and the Skwerdlock…
John Jamison has been creating stories for young people for almost sixty years now. John shared his stories in small groups, at large conferences, on radio and television, as well as through a collection of learning materials. Now, writing as Pops, John shares his stories with early readers and listeners.
Pops’ goal is to tell “just good stories” that help spark a love of reading and a laugh or two.
The Skwerdlock showed-up early one morning about 45 years ago, and has been living with Pop’s daughter Tricia ever since.
The Skwerdlock would never do anything to hurt anyone or to cause any problems. But sometimes, just being a Skwerdlock means that strange things can happen when a Skwerdlock is nearby. These little stories are a friendly reminder of what can happen when a Skwerdlock is around.
