Sometimes we tell stories just for fun, or to be scary, or sad, or mysterious, or to teach something. In this week’s StoryTime, we talk about the story of Groundhog’s Day, and see how we sometimes tell stories to explain why things happen like they do. We call those “origin stories”, and today we tell the origin story the Choctaw Indians told about the Owl and the Pigeon.
We can create whatever kind of story we want to create!
